Company news: eBay’s (EBAY) quarterly results beat analysts’ forecasts

eBay (EBAY) reported Q1 FY2024 earnings of $1.25 per share (versus $1.11 per share in Q1 FY2023), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.20 per share.

The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $2.556 bln (+1.8% y/y), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.534 bln.

The company also issued guidance for Q2 FY2024, seeing EPS of $1.10-1.15 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.14 and revenues of $2.49-2.54 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.56 bln.

EBAY fell to $49.11 (-3.82%) in pre-market trading.
