Company news: 3M (MMM) quarterly results beat analysts’ estimates
3M (MMM) reported Q1 FY2024 earnings of $2.39 per share (versus $1.97 per share in Q1 FY2023), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.10 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $7.720 bln, slightly beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $7.630 bln.
The company also issued guidance for FY2024, seeing EPS of $6.80-7.30, which may not be comparable to analysts’ consensus estimate of $9.54.
MMM rose to $96.70 (+4.93%) in pre-market trading.
