Alibaba (BABA) reported Q2 FY2022 earnings of $11.73 per share (versus $16.60 per share in Q2 FY2021), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $10.50 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $205.555 bln (-0.1% y/y), being roughly in line with analysts’ consensus estimate of $203.799 bln.
BABA rose to $100.02 (+4.49%) in pre-market trading.
