Company news: eBay (EBAY) quarterly results beat analysts’ forecasts

eBay (EBAY) reported Q2 FY2022 earnings of $0.99 per share (versus $0.99 per share in Q2 FY2021), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.89 per share.

The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $2.422 bln (-9.2% y/y), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.362 bln.

The company also issued guidance for Q3 FY2022, seeing EPS of $0.89-0.95 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.92 and revenues of $2.29-2.37 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.3 bln.

For the full FY2022, it sees EPS of $3.95-4.10 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $3.96 and revenues of $9.6-9.9 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $9.66 bln.

EBAY rose to $50.92 (+0.87%) in pre-market trading.
