Company news: Advanced Micro (AMD) quarterly earnings only slightly beat analysts’ forecasts
Advanced Micro (AMD) reported Q2 FY2022 earnings of $1.05 per share (versus $0.63 per share in Q2 FY2021), marginally beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.04 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $6.550 bln (+70.1% y/y), being roughly in line with analysts’ consensus estimate of $6.529 bln.
The company issued in-line guidance for Q3 FY2022, seeing revenues of $6.5-6.9 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $6.83 bln. It also reaffirmed guidance for FY2022, seeing revenues of $26.0-26.6 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $26.18 bln.
AMD fell to $93.80 (-5.53%) in pre-market trading.
