The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) reported on Thursday that natural gas inventories increased by 50 billion
cubic feet (bcf) in the week that ended April 12.
Economists had
forecast a gain of 54 bcf.
The previous
week saw a rise of 24 bcf.
