Speaking at the European Central Bank's (ECB) annual forum in Sintra, Portugal, its president Christine Lagarde suggested that we're unlikely to go back to a period of low inflation. In her opinion, the move away from globalization will end the era of low inflation.
Lagarde also noted that inflation expectations are much higher than before.
