Company news: Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s (HPE) quarterly earnings slightly miss analysts’ expectations

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) reported Q1 FY2025 earnings of $0.49 per share (versus $0.48 per share in Q1 FY2024), slightly missing analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.50 per share.

The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $7.854 bln (+16.3% y/y), slightly beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $7.814 bln.

The company issued downside guidance for Q2 FY2025, seeing EPS of $0.28-0.34 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.50 and revenues of $7.20-7.60 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $7.92 bln.

It also issued in-line guidance for FY2025, seeing EPS of $1.70-1.90 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.13 and guided to FY2025 revenue growth of 7-11% y/y in constant currency.

HPE fell to $14.40 (-19.82%) in pre-market trading.
