European Central Bank's Governing Council Member Pablo Hernández de Cos stated on Thursday that the ECB is clearly closer to the end of the current rate-hiking cycle. He noted that there were ample financial conditions at the start of the cycle. "Now that they have tightened, the need for further hikes clearly disappears," the official added.
