The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) reported on Thursday that natural gas inventories dropped by 9 billion
cubic feet (bcf) in the week ended March 8. This
was the 15th straight weekly decrease in natural gas
inventories.
Economists had foreseen
a fall of 3 bcf.
The previous
week saw a decline of 40 bcf.
