The European Central Bank's (ECB) Executive Board member Isabel Schnabel said on Friday that the ECB's staff's models suggest that the peak impact of monetary tightening may now be behind.
The official also stated that the Eurozone's economy may be able to achieve a soft landing, meaning that inflation in the region could be tamed without causing a recession. However, she stressed that the policymakers need to be cautious as there are reasons for the last mile to be more difficult.
