The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) announced on Thursday that natural gas
inventories declined by 60 billion cubic feet (bcf) in the week ended February 16. That was the 12th straight weekly drop
in natural gas inventories.
Economists had predicted
a fall of 64 bcf.
The previous
week saw a drop of 49 bcf.
