In its latest monthly economic report, Germany's central bank said it expects the country's economy to post modest growth in the second quarter.
According to Bundesbank, the easing supply bottlenecks and a fall in energy prices are to support industry recovery. This, in turn, should also support exports, especially since the global economy has regained some momentum.
The German central bank, however, noted that it sees that private consumption is still likely to stagnate, and the price growth is to fall only very gradually in the coming months.
