The Russian Defense Minister on Tuesday said that forces will strike Ukraine security service sites in Kyiv, with such strikes aimed at avoiding information attacks against Russia, reported Russia state-run media.

Updates as to the fighting in Ukraine continue to concern investors, with Russia evidently making good progress in the south of the country and continuing to amass troops near Kyiv. According to reports earlier in the session, the convoy of Russian military vehicles heading towards Kyiv had grown to 40 miles long and Belarusian troops are also reported to have entered Ukraine. All the while, unsurprisingly, the rhetoric between Russia/NATO continues to escalate in hostility.
