Company news: Moderna (MRNA) quarterly results strongly beat analysts’ expectations
Moderna (MRNA) reported Q4 FY 2021 earnings of $11.29 per share (versus -$0.69 per share in Q4 FY 2020), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $9.81 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $7.211 bln (+1163.3% y/y), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $6.735 bln.
The company also announced its Board of Directors had authorized a new share repurchase program for $3 bln to return excess capital to shareholders.
MRNA fell to $131.89 (-2.83%) in pre-market trading.
