Company news: Walmart (WMT) quarterly results beat analysts’ expectations
Walmart (WMT) reported Q4 FY 2022 earnings of $1.53 per share (versus $1.39 per share in Q4 FY 2021), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.50 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $152.900 bln (+0.5% y/y), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $150.199 bln.
The company also said it planned share repurchases of at least $10 bln in FY 2023.
WMT rose to $136.56 (+2.27%) in pre-market trading.
