Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) reported Q1 FY2024 earnings of $1.38 per share (versus $7.98 per share in Q1 FY2023), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.30 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $18.870 bln (+12.9% y/y), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $18.310 bln.
The company also issued upside guidance for Q2 FY2024, seeing revenues of $19.6-20.4 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $19.44 bln.
TSM fell to $136.90 (-1.53%) in pre-market trading.
