It’s a Quarterly Economic Review, published by Research and Statistics Department of the Bank of Japan. The review is based on assessments of over 8000 companies, firms and institutions by the following economic parameters: business conditions; production and marketing; supply and demand, the price level; income; direct investment; employment; fiscal conditions. This report is one of the most important reports of the economic data sphere of Japan. Quarterly index of activity of the major producers evaluates the current state of the country’s majorcompanies. Values above zero reflect better prognosis.
