The European Central Bank's Governing Council member Peter Kazimir said Thursday that he strongly believes that the ECB's rate hike at its September 14 meeting was the last one.
However, the official added that the policymakers need to wait for the December and March forecasts as only real data can persuade them that they are at the peak.
Also, Kazimir noted that overall and core inflation are on a downward trend and acknowledged that past rate hikes increasingly impact the real economy.
