The European Central Bank's Governing Council member Francois Villeroy de Galhau said on Tuesday that he believes that the eurozone is not very far from the peak of inflation.
The policymaker also said that he does not think the ECB has to choose between fighting inflation and avoiding a recession. According to him, a better economic situation makes the ECB's task to fight inflation with monetary policy easier.
