Company news: Micron (MU) quarterly earnings beat analysts’ forecasts
Micron (MU) reported Q3 FY 2022 earnings of $2.59 per share (versus $1.88 per share in Q3 FY 2021), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.45 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $8.642 bln (+16.4% y/y), being roughly in line with analysts’ consensus estimate of $8.657 bln.
The company also issued downside guidance for Q4 FY 2022, seeing EPS of $1.63, +/- $0.20, which equates to $1.43-$1.83 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.60, and revenues of $7.2 bln, +/- $400 mln, which equates to $6.8-$7.6 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $9.17 bln.
MU fell to $52.50 (-5.03 %) in pre-market trading.
