Company news: Home Depot (HD) quarterly revenues miss analysts’ expectations
Home Depot (HD) reported Q1 FY2023 earnings of $3.82 per share (versus $4.09 per share in Q1 FY2022), marginally beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $3.81 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $37.257 bln (-4.2% y/y), missing analysts’ consensus estimate of $38.352 bln.
The company also issued downside guidance for FY2023, seeing EPS of down 7-13% y/y to ~$14.52-15.52 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $15.74 and revenues of down 2-5% y/y to ~$149.5-154.3 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $156.56 bln.
HD fell to $278.30 (-3.55%) in pre-market trading.
