At the post-decision press conference, the Bank of England's governor Andrew Bailey said that the BoE has to stay the course to make sure inflation falls all the way back to the 2% target,
The BoE's chief noted inflation in the UK remains too high, but he added that the policymakers have good reasons to expect inflation to fall sharply from April. Also, he admitted that the outlook for growth, and unemployment has improved.
