The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced on Thursday
that natural gas inventories dropped by 72 billion cubic feet (bcf) in the week
ended March 17. That marked the 10th straight weekly decline
in natural gas inventories.
Economists had forecast a fall of 75 bcf.
The previous week logged in a decrease of 58 bcf.
