Walmart (WMT) reported Q4 FY2023 earnings of $1.71 per share (versus $1.53 per share in Q4 FY2022), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.51 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $164.048 bln (+7.3% y/y), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $158.674 bln.
The company issued downside EPS guidance for Q1 FY2024 and the full FY2024 of $1.25-1.30 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.37, and $5.90-6.05 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $6.51, respectively.
Walmart also increased its quarterly dividend to $0.57/share from $0.56/share.
WMT fell to $140.94 (-3.76%) in pre-market trading.
