Company news: Barrick (GOLD) quarterly earnings marginally beat analysts’ forecasts
Barrick (GOLD) reported Q4 FY2022 earnings of $0.13 per share (versus $0.35 per share in Q4 FY2021), slightly beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.12 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $2.774 bln (-16.2% y/y), roughly in line with analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.789 bln.
Also, Barrick declared a dividend of $0.10 per share for Q4 FY2022 and announced a new share buyback program of up to $1.0 billion.
GOLD fell to $17.68 (-0.73%) in pre-market trading.
