The
Commerce Department announced on Wednesday its advance estimate showed that the
U.S. goods trade gap widened to $97.78 billion in November from $83.20 billion
in October. This represented a historically high deficit in the U.S.
international trade in goods.
According
to the report, goods imports jumped 4.7 percent m-o-m to $252.43 billion, while
exports declined 2.1 percent m-o-m to $154.66 billion.
